Meet Romeo
It's official, I am now feline hospice care; at this point, all I can do is love on him as much as possible until it's time to say goodbye.
I just took in a brown tabby stray. After many months of never being permitted to touch him, he finally asked me for help, literally. I knew he wasn't feeling well with his runny eyes and completely blocked-up, snotty nose...poor little guy was mouth breathing.
Long story short (longer version still to come), it turns out he is not only FIV positive, but FeLV positive, as well. I decided to give him a forever home for however long that may be. He now has his very own room, away from my other cats, and each day, I get to experience a little more of his precious personality.
My intuition was correct in naming him Romeo because it has now been two weeks, and he's turning out to be quite the lover.
